Isn't the convenience of our contemporary computer Internet wonderful?

It's probably the last public forum left where freedom to express unpopular opinions is still permitted.

But, in many countries outside of the United States of America, even the expression of personal opinions on the World Wide Web is restricted, and individuals can be subjected to criminal prosecution and harsh imprisonment.

Opening up our BOOK OF MORMON, in the Thirty-Third Verse of the Twenty-Sixth Chapter of the Second Book of Nephi, we are told:

" - - - and he (our Lord, Jesus, the Christ) denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile."

So, how can I, a convert in the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints (i.e., the so-called "Mormon" church) possibly justify racial prejudice?

Well, I reckon it's basically instinctive, and ultimately comes down to one word - - - survival.

The reality of the world we now live in dictates that white people had better wake up quickly, or we'll soon become extinct, or dominated by people who do not share our heritage or values.

White people have already become a minority in almost every American metropolis, and even in some states.

When I was a boy, I grew up mostly in North Carolina, in a small military community that was racially segregated.

The elementary school I attended had only white students and faculty.

The congregation and ministers of the local Methodist church I attended were white, as were all of my neighbors, all of the business operators, and all community officials, including our town's lone police officer.

The so-called "Civil Rights Movement" began and grew as I was growing up.

Typical of idealistic and rebellious youth, I welcomed all the changes, thinking all men should be brothers, and everyone should be equal.

Like other white youths, I laughed at the Ku Klux Klan, for they WERE rather ridiculous caricatures, showing themselves to be ignorant and cowardly drunkards.

But, many long years have passed, and now my opinions have changed completely (except towards the embarrassing impotence of the Ku Klux Klan).

Forced racial integration was an idealistic noble experiment which failed abysmally.

The effort by white people to try and improve the standard of living for their black brethren backfired.

Instead of making life better for black people, as was intended, the standard of living, which was contingent on morality, was lowered for everybody, both black and white.

Further, the movement militantly advocating preferential treatment for black people was quickly followed up by similar militant movements demanding (and getting) open acceptance of illegal narcotics, negation of traditional family structure, societal feminization and emasculation, homosexuality, and harboring religions and cultures hostile to Christianity.

First of all, forcing racial integration never should have been permitted, for you don't make white people and black people like each other by sending in troops with bayonets.

In the name of trying to correct one injustice, we instituted a far greater injustice, as we allowed repeated violations of nearly every provision in our CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, to the extent that we have possibly forever forfeited the inalienable rights of individual citizens.

Once unconstitutional powers have been usurped by government, citizens cannot regain their liberty without bloodshed.

Also, it's time to admit that people ARE different, and to quote a line from "EXODUS", one of my favorite Hollywood movies, "we LIKE being different!"

Why are American Indians permitted to live on reservations, but white people can't live in exclusively white communities?

If the United States of America actually won the Second World War, then why do we now enthusiastically do what we condemned Adolph Hitler and the Third Reich for?

Just like Adolph Hitler and the Third Reich, the United States of America, along with Canada and all of Europe, now publicly endorses racial preference and racial persecution.

Only the names have changed.

Today, instead of the Jews being persecuted, the favorite public scapegoat is the white man.

The race which currently gets preferential access to education, financing, and employment opportunities is the black, or people of color.

Is our objective to punish Adolph Hitler by destroying white America?

Along with the obvious racial inequities and indignities, the United States of America has copied Nazi Germany in numerous other ways, such as instituting restrictions on private ownership of firearms, national control over private enterprise, financial resources, orchestrated control over information media, ridiculing of religion, restricting freedom of expression, and even copying the highway system, weapons, and uniforms of the Third Reich.

So, who REALLY won the Second World War?

No, I'm not in favor of arbitrarily persecuting black people merely because they were born different.

I want everybody to enjoy opportunities for a full and productive life while we are so briefly partaking of mortality.

Life is challenging enough, and we all die, so why make things more difficult?

But, on the other hand, I believe racial bias is a natural instinct, given to us by our Almighty God for our protection.

I want my white race, with its idealism, morality, and heritage to SURVIVE!

And, yes, it does appear that the hour has grown late, and what's left of the white race may very soon fade into oblivion.

Whites reproduce in low numbers, or not at all, as the birth rates of other racial groups are exploding exponentially, ignoring or flouting moral guidance.

Ah, yes, when whites constituted the power structure, we were idealistic, seeking to help everyone, regardless of race.

Now, when blacks attain power, how will they conduct themselves?

For the answer, we need only look at Africa, where blacks now rule, and where whites have been driven out.

Or, we can examine almost any American megalopolis, including the nation's capital, Washington, D.C.

Do you really want to live like that?

No, it's not because of skin color that I'm prejudiced against black people.

It's because of how they conduct themselves!

It's how black people present themselves to the world.

If white people act like that (and many do), I don't want to associate with them, either.

Yes, I know I'm generalizing, and that there are always individual exceptions in every group.

I've met many fine, religious, educated, moral, and responsible black people.

Likewise, I've met many despicable, idiotic, amoral, and irresponsible white people.

But, generally speaking, when all is said and done, I prefer associating with others of my own race, who aspire to similar ideals, and espouse similar values in morality and education.

I want my white race to survive and prosper.

I hope it's not too late.

Thank you.

"Instead of making life better for black people, as was intended, the standard of living, which was contingent on morality, was lowered for everybody, both black and white."

Not true. There has always been White Trash. The Irish were considered a different race: "Black on the inside". There are still plenty of drunken crackers in the south, driving around in their old heaps with piles of empty beer cans all over the floor, and beating on their wives and children. You said so yourself when you mentioned the Klan. Yeah, it's a good thing the National Alliance and the National Vanguard is different. Their whole drama played out on the internet for all to see.

...Furthermore, half of all African-Americans are middle-class.

"Further, the movement militantly advocating preferential treatment for black people was quickly followed up by similar militant movements demanding (and getting) open acceptance of illegal narcotics, negation of traditional family structure, societal feminization and emasculation, homosexuality, and harboring religions and cultures hostile to Christianity."

Hostile to Christianity? Again, what about the Irish with their "Pope Worship"? We've heard all this before, and the sky still hasn't fallen.

Narcotics are hardly accepted. Look at how many of the 2 million prisoners in America are locked up on drug charges. Cocaine and heroin are not legal anymore.

I respect your opinions, and I'm publishing these most recent replies because they were more civil than earlier responses.

I enjoy the give and take of two opposing views being openly expressed.

But, I do wonder about a couple of things, such as, why you wish to be anonymous, while I print my full name and address.

Are you afraid of me?

How ironic, since it is MY opinions that are so unpopular and draw such heated commentary from nearly everybody.

Your opinions have the overwhelming approval of our contemporary society, so you would be a hero to most people, while I remain the despised villain.

What about the Irish and the Catholics?

Why bother bringing that up?

What point are you trying to prove?

Yes, all racial, national, religious, and ethnic groups have faced persecution and discrimination from other groups, usually due to competition for employment, opportunities for advancement, and differences in values.

To quote another Internet blogger;

"Racists don't cause racism. Multiculturalism does."

Did you know there was a time when Scottish orphans were kidnapped and sent to the Carolinas to be slaves on the plantations?

That was what Robert Louis Stevenson's famous novel was all about.

Did you know that some of the slave owners were black, especially in South Carolina, which had more black slaveowners than any other state?

My own family history, in which there was participation in slavery, and later, the Underground Railroad, documents the case of a mysterious white runaway slave boy.

Also, I don't consider the National Alliance to be similar to the Ku Klux Klan.

About the only thing the two organizations have in common is the desire to preserve our white racial heritage.

What is wrong with that, other than being an unpopular idea?

Why is it okay for blacks, hispanics, Asians, American Indians, and Jews to openly seek promotion of their racial identity, but it's not okay for white Christian Americans to do the same thing?

Your comments indicate a proclivity for accepting mainstream portrayals and stereotypes.

Try and think outside the box.

Don't be so quick to go along with the crowd.

And, you don't need to be afraid of me.

I'm the one who's in danger, not you.

Thank you.

Thanks for responding. I'm of Scotch-Irish descent, myself.

The point in bringing up the Irish is that it shows how ludicrous racism is, or this fear of the "Other". The Irish were not considered "White" at one time, but today, such a statement is obviously ridiculous. Naturally, we're all more alike than we are different. When the National Alliance says that 'Black people do this, Latinos do that -- let's seperate..', it's exactly the same things people said about the Irish years ago as they were throwing them into the 'Paddy Wagon'. We've heard it all before and things turned out quite differently than people would have imagined.

"Why is it okay for blacks, hispanics, Asians, American Indians, and Jews to openly seek promotion of their racial identity, but it's not okay for white Christian Americans to do the same thing?"

Untill recently, these groups were unable to define themselves in America, or in other places under colonial rule. If we want to understand the world better and appreciate it more, then we can't limit ourselves to only reading history and literature written before the 1960's. There will always be guys like Harold Bloom - the traditional American and European literary canon isn't going anywhere. If anything, it'll just get bigger, and people will have interesting debates as to what is a "classic" and what isn't, what the use of literature and cultural media are, and so on.

The problems with White, Christian Americans asserting their racial identity is complicated. We have a history of people fleeing here to escape persecution, as well as slavery and racial segregation based on religious beliefs.White Christians have been persecuted or discriminated against as well, but not because they're white. It's no wonder that they would identify more strongly with their religion rather than their race. It's been more prominent in their lives and history.

A race-based religion does have some ammunition to defend themselves from government censorship if they need to. No one is protected from other people's criticism of their religion, though, for better or for worse. Jack T. Chick is known for publishing thousands upon thousands of comic tracts stating that Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and basically everyone not thinking as he does is going straight to hell. You might even find one shoved into the pocket of a new coat you buy. How's that for a slap in the face? In turn, he gets a great deal of flak and ridicule.

The vast majority of Christian churches would probably say that the racial aspect of any kind of "White Christianity" is idolatry of race, as Pope Pius XII once did (and now that he said it, like it or not, it's out there and it will influence our culture). We've been there and done that, both here and abroad. I don't think things will bo back to the way they were. A person can convert to Judaism. Jews are not a "race". Wouldn't we generally consider the Ethiopian Jews 'Black'? How do they define themselves?

As you stated, "all religious groups, etc, have been persecuted". Isn't it safe to say that if any other small minority were as successful as the Jews that we would be hearing the same things about them as well? If any other group cranked out scholars left and right, then they would be the ones accused of having too much influence over the majority. Is there something intrinsically wrong about Judaism?

As far as White Nationalism goes, if you can form a White nation without violating anyone's civil rights in the process, then go for it. I don't see how that's possible, though, at least not within these borders. People will always resent groups like the National Alliance as being divisive rather than unifying. They can say whatever they want about unity untill they're blue in the face, but the divisive part overrides all the talk about White and European pride.

It's reductive to say that multiculturalism causes racism. That ignores a great deal of history. When Whites were in a better postion to define Blacks, they were considered docile and so they made better slaves than Native Americans. Then, suddenly, they're all to be considered generally 'aggressive'and avoided? These definitions change over time, and I suppose they always will.

Take care, and enjoy the Holiday coming up!
I'll check back to read your response.

Certainly a far better argument than the vast majority of white supremacists.

If it weren't for the perceptions of racism, there wouldn't be racial discrepancies.

Think about it. If we weren't racist, we wouldn't use race in our selection of a partner. Any "pure black" or "pure white" people are solely that way because their ancestors refused to interbreed with other races. If race *truly* didn't matter to people, everyone would pretty much be of the same ethnicity and you couldn't really link any factors to it. Instead, because races *choose* to segregrate themselves, they end up sustaining all the differences. It is somewhat hypocritical to decry someone as being racist when that person was racist in the first place.

Secondly, there is also the affirmative action, minority protection aspect. By Governments and different groups repeatedly bringing up race as a topic, they are racially selecting. "You've been deprived." Any problem was because of their race. If you insulted them, regardless of their race or not, "that's racist". But if they insult you due to your race? Nah, that's just them letting off steam.
