The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier in the United States Army who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.



Specialist Robert Donevski, nineteen years old, of Sun City, Arizona, died Saturday 16 January 2010 in Abad, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire.

Specialist Donevski was assigned to the Second Battalion, Twelfth Infantry Regiment, Fourth Brigade Combat Team, Fourth Infantry Division, at Fort Carson, Colorado.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of an airman in the United States Air Force who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Technical Sergeant Adam K. Ginett, twenty-nine years old, of Knightdale, North Carolina, died Tuesday 19 January 2010 near Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device.

Technical Sergeant Ginett was assigned to the Thirty-First Civil Engineer Squadron, at Aviano Air Force Base, Italy.
