Ah, but there's MORE!

When I was a baby, I and my sibling rivals were adopted by different families and given new identities, which is why today, my name is John Robert Mallernee.

However, I was actually born David Roy Trueblood, during a poker game in a tent beside the railroad tracks, and it is through the Truebloods that I am descended from Clan Henderson in Scotland.

My biological mother was Hazel Irene (nee Albertson) Trueblood.

Her parents were converts in The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints (i.e., the "Mormon" church) who emigrated to the United States of America from "the happiest country on Earth", the Kingdom of Denmark.

Thus, biologically, my blood is fifty percent Danish.

In 2009, while driving in my 2004 Ford F-150 XLT pickup truck across the United States of America, I stopped in Elk Horn, Iowa to visit the Danish Immigrant Museum, a refreshing and enlightening experience that I highly recommend.

In their gift shop, I purchased a couple of T-shirts proclaiming my Viking ancestry, plus a few other items prominently featuring the Dannebrog, reputed to be the World's oldest national flag.
