SIGNAL CORPS 151ST BIRTHDAY ! ! !

Comrades in Arms:

Congratulations on the 151st Birthday of our UNITED STATES ARMY SIGNAL CORPS, officially created on 21 June 1860, with the appointment "to the Signal Department of Assistant Surgeon Albert J. Myer to be Signal Officer, with the rank of Major".

As for myself, I received my advanced individual training in the United States Army Southeastern Signal School (USASESS) at Fort Gordon, Georgia in 1968 as a Field Radio Relay and Carrier Equipment Repair Specialist (MOS 31L20).
Repairing an AN/TCC-70 multiplexer at the 501st Signal Battalion of the 101st Airborne Division at Camp Eagle, in the Republic of Viet Nam, probably in 1970

Of course, after all these years, neither the job nor the equipment still exists, and several of the units I served in, also no longer exist.

So, Comrades, unlax and enjoy some good ol' cake and ice cream, 'cause you've EARNED it!!!

With Respect,
Offical Bard of Clan Henderson
Gulfport, Mississippi  39507

NOTE: "My unpopular and controversial personal opinions do not represent my Scottish clan."
