I'm very pleased to be able to say that I'm personally acquainted with one of these recipients of the Medal of Honor, Colonel Bernard Francis Fisher, United States Air Force (Retired), who resides in Kuna, Idaho.

I first met him at Bitburg Air Force Base in Germany, where we were both members of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints.

When I lived in Saint Anthony, Idaho, he used to let me camp out on his farm while I attended emergency medical training seminars in Boise.

Also, we both participated in the same veterans activities in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Bernie is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and always ever SOOO anxious to help his fellow man in any way that he possibly can!
