IN HONOR OF GEORGE WASHINGTON (AND OTHERS)

**************************************
**************************************
Are you planning to enjoy some scrumptious cherry pie this coming Friday 22 February 2013?

This coming Friday 22 February 2013, is the 282d birthday of GEORGE WASHINGTON, and it is a traditional American custom to celebrate by eating cherry pie on this day.

Will our mess hall here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi be observing this date by serving cherry pie for dessert?

In previous years, they never did, but I had hoped they might do it this coming Friday, because I alerted the administrative personnel a couple of weeks ago.

As of today, Presidents' Day (!?), Monday 18 February 2013, our prospects for having any cherry pie on George Washington's birthday don't look very promising, for unfortunately, our mess hall here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi chose to serve us cherry pie for dessert TODAY, rather than on this coming Friday.

It's just one more effort by contemporary anti-American conspirators within our society to further destroy, subjugate, pervert, and/or denigrate our American heritage by casually ignoring traditional holidays, observances, and celebrations through compulsory "political correctness" and "revisionist history".

So, we'll see what happens at chow time on Friday 22 February 2013 in our mess hall here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Most folks don't realize that George Washington was NOT the first president of the United States of America, but he was the first president of our republic.

The Articles of Confederation
Prior to the ratification of our divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America, our nation was a confederacy, and our first president was Samuel Huntington.

The official Great Seal of the Confederate States of America depicts George Washington mounted on a horse.

This coming Friday 22 February 2013, is also the 156th birthday of Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts.

"PARCHMENT, QUILL, AND THE PEOPLE'S WILL"

Words and Music by:

VERSE # 01:
Parchment, quill,
And the people's will
In a sacred land;
With sword and pen,
The rebel men
Made a noble stand.

CHORUS:
The light goes forth
Throughout the World
To shine for all to see.
"We, the People" forevermore
Born of God to stay free!
"We, the People" forevermore
Born of God to stay free!

VERSE # 02:
Freedom's light
Was born of fight
Against a tyrant king.
Nothing's free
Or comes easily.
You work for everything.

VERSE # 03:
Federal power
Can grow by hour,
The Founders warned us all.
Search and fight
For what is right,
Or you'll see Liberty fall!

So, have yourself ANOTHER slice of good ol' cherry pie!

For the best effect, please be sure and watch, in "FULL SCREEN" mode, this instructional video recording.

Mmmmm, boy, but that's plumb larrupin'!

Mr. Mallernee, we made sure there was Cherry Pie served on Presidents Day. That is the day we observe for all presidents. Thank you.

Mr. Dickerson, Et Alii:

You will remember from my previous e-mail how upset I was that the tradition of serving cherry pie on George Washington's birthday, Friday 22 February 2013, was not being properly observed here in the mess hall at our Armed Forces Retirement Home.

Please click on this LINK to read the article, "IN HONOR OF GEORGE WASHINGTON (AND OTHERS)", that I wrote at my own personal web site, "OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE".

Well, I just learned something new, which sort of vindicates you and your staff.

Please click on this LINK to read the REAL story on "WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY, NOT PRESIDENTS' DAY", which was published one year ago on Tuesday 19 February 2012.

So, even though you're correct, you're STILL wrong, for the Monday holiday was NOT "Presidents' Day" after all!

As you may well surmise, I vehemently disagree with federally mandated Monday holiday weekends.

I continue to view that practice as part of a deliberate strategy to methodically suppress and destroy all popular knowledge of our national heritage.

Thank you.
