MODERN DAY VIKING DRAGON SHIP LANDS IN AMERICA ! ! !

***********************************************************

Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

Do you have Viking blood in your veins?

Thanks to my biological mother (I was adopted), fully fifty percent of my blood is Danish.

Although today, Denmark is a very tiny country, it once was a huge empire which included all of Scandinavia, the British Isles, Germany, and even extending into Russia and North America.

There is a continuing scholarly dispute over which nation has the World's oldest flag, Scotland or Denmark.

At the DAILY TIME WASTER web site, there is a post, with video recordings, of a modern day Viking dragon ship, the DRAKEN HARALD HARFAGRE, i.e., the DRAGON HAROLD FAIRHAIR, which sailed from Norway, across the wild North Atlantic Ocean, to America, with a stop in Greenland for a Viking wedding.

For the best effect, please enjoy watching, in "FULL SCREEN" mode, this automated video series of a collection of video recordings of the historic creation and voyage of the DRAKEN HARALD HARFAGRE.

As this voyage was experimental, a fully stocked normal, contemporary maintenance ship accompanied the Viking dragon ship, in case of trouble, which ALWAYS happens in the unforgiving icy waves of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Oh, this is absolutely super neat!

I'm so proud of my Viking ancestry, my Anglo-Saxon ancestry, and my wee bit o' Scottish Highland ancestry (whose clan is descended from a king)!

And, because I'm adopted, I now have Cherokee ancestry, French ancestry, Scottish ancestry, and Irish ancestry.

But according to Cherokee law, I'm not a Cherokee, because Cherokee law does not recognize the adoption of anyone who was born without any American Indian blood.

Still, what I do have, in my own mind, is incredibly fantastic, and I am so grateful.

Don't you wish YOU had been adopted, so that you, too, would have twice the number of ancestors and double the heritage of any of your friends and neighbors?

Thank you.
