Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

One of my very FAVORITE Hollywood motion picture productions is, "BABY BLUE MARINE", a 1976 film, starring Jan-Michael Vincent.

A while back (maybe a couple of years - - - maybe longer?), I succeeded in purchasing a DVD of "BABY BLUE MARINE" over the Internet, although I've forgotten exactly how and where I found it.

But, recently, when playing the DVD, I was disappointed to see that the quality of the recording (possibly a pirated version) had badly deteriorated.

So, last night (it's currently in the wee hours here - - - my usual environment), I used the GOOGLE search engine, looking for "BABY BLUE MARINE".

A couple of the web sites advertised free downloads of that movie, so I followed the steps for downloading and installing required software programs, and used my VISA card to pay for it.

Well, lo and behold, did I ever learn a hard lesson!

The feature length movie, "BABY BLUE MARINE", is not available ANYWHERE, not in any form.

The files that I did download turned out to be either a stupid cartoon, or a contemporary rock band video.

Even worse, during the process, one of the web sites where I registered turned out to be marketing ONLY hard core pornographic films!

Furthermore, I can't find that web site again (because I can't remember the name of the site), which I need to do if I'm going to cancel my account.

However, I did uninstall and remove the software programs from my hard drive, and I did e-mail one of the web sites explaining that their advertising was misleading, and that I wanted my money back, and my account cancelled.

Now, WHY is the movie, "BABY BLUE MARINE", not available?

Why is there no information (that I can find) explaining why "BABY BLUE MARINE" can not be seen or purchased anywhere?

Is there something politically offensive about this movie?

It's all about old fashioned values and the relative innocence of a bygone era, which is why I like that movie so much.

Anyway, I wrote this to warn everybody that there ARE indeed a bunch of deceptive web sites, which advertise a purely innocuous product you're looking for, but then turn out to be something you'd be embarrassed or ashamed to have on your computer screen.

It's an unfortunate irony that so much good can be accomplished with the divinely inspired inventions of personal computers and the World Wide Web, and yet, most of the income which finances this marvelous technology is generated from vice, pornography, and gambling.

Thank you.
