The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of three soldiers in the United States Army who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
The three soldiers died of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device on Saturday 13 February 2010 in Zhari province, Afghanistan.
All three soldiers were assigned to the First Battalion, Twelfth Infantry Regiment, Fourth Brigade Combat Team, Fourth Infantry Division, at Fort Carson, Colorado.
Killed were:
Staff Sergeant John A. Reiners, twenty-four years old, of Lakeland, Florida
Sergeant Jeremiah T. Wittman, twenty-six years old, of Darby, Montana
Specialist Bobby J. Pagan, twenty-three years old, of Austin, Texas

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor in the United States Navy who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Petty Officer First Class Sean L. Caughman, forty-three years old, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Tuesday 16 February 2010 while supporting operations in Kuwait.
Petty Officer First Class Caughman was assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Twenty-Two.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a United States Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Lance Corporal Alejandro J. Yazzie, twenty-three years old, of Rock Point, Arizona, died Tuesday 16 February 2010 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
Lance Corporal Yazzie was assigned to the First Combat Engineer Battalion, First Marine Division, First Marine Expeditionary Force, at Camp Pendleton, California.
