DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA FIREARMS RALLIES

Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

I have learned that on Monday 19 April 2010, there will actually be TWO (02) separate rallies in and around the District of Columbia supporting the inalienable right to keep and bear arms.

The unarmed SECOND AMENDMENT MARCH will be held at the Washington Monument in the District of Columbia.

The RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION RALLY will be across the river, at Fort Hunt National Park, Virginia.

For details, please click on the automatic Internet links I have provided in this message.

At the rally in Virginia, participants are encouraged to bring and display their personal firearms.

During the event, small groups of legally armed participants will approach as closely as possible to the boundaries of the District of Columbia, in order to be plainly visible to federal politicians and bureaucrats across the river.

As both events will last all day long, participants may attend portions of each gathering, although obviously, firearms will not be permitted at the SECOND AMENDMENT MARCH in the District of Columbia.

The date, 19 April, is historically significant, as it commemorates the "shot heard 'round the world", on 19 April 1775, which began the American Revolutionary War, when just seventy-seven men and boys stood on the village green to defy the largest, most powerful, and best equipped army in the entire world.

Indeed, I learned at the FACEBOOK social networking web site that "419", or "Four Nineteen", which refers to that date, is now the new battle cry of the patriot movement in America, something I consider very appropriate.

I doubt it will ever occur, but as an aside, I'm wondering what would happen if suddenly, in defiance of the existing unconstitutional laws, THOUSANDS of openly armed citizens appeared in downtown Washington, D.C.?

I suspect police and military forces would probably just back away from any such embarrassing public confrontation.

On the other hand, in previous missives, I have stated that 19 April, precisely because it is so uniquely historic, would be an excellent occasion for an armed revolt to be initiated with uncoordinated, independently operating, "lone wolf" guerilla attacks against isolated government targets.

Our government fears "lone wolf" attacks more than any other, for there is no defense against that which can not be predicted.

The purpose of the armed revolt will be to seize the government, in order to restore our lost republic, our Constitution of the United States, our inalienable rights, sovereignty for the several states (including the right to secession), a free enterprise capitalist economy, and to preserve traditional Christian family values.

Due to the blatant collusion between the Republican Party and the Democrat Party, our electoral system no longer works, and thus, a bloody, violent, armed revolt is the only viable solution left for disillusioned and frustrated American citizenry.

Freedom isn't free, but time and time again, must ever be hard won with precious blood.

Thank you.
Washington, D.C.  20011-8400
