Be sure to watch this Scottish video in "FULL SCREEN" mode.
Adam Potter, thirty-six years old, of Glasgow, Scotland, had successfully climbed to the summit of the 3,589 foot high Sgurr Choinnich Mor, when he slipped on the ice and fell straight down for over a thousand feet.
When rescuers reached him, he was standing on his feet and reading a map.
Actually, I have it on good authority that being a true Scottish Highlander, he used his kilt as an emergency parachute!

MEXICAN TROOPS ATTACK UNITED STATES ! ! !
Be sure and watch this video in "FULL SCREEN" mode.
This Associated Press video was posted by Brock Townsend on his FREE NORTH CAROLINA web site.
Folks, those guys in that video look like regular soldiers in the Mexican Army, which in my mind, justifies an immediate total armed military response by the United States Army.

SPECTACULAR COMBAT PHOTOGRAPH

In this rather unusual official United States Army photograph, taken by Staff Sergeant Mark Burrell, a 120mm mortar round flies out of the tube as Staff Sergeant Ramey J. Brown (left), from Marshville, North Carolina, Specialist Tyler L. Dillon (center), from Williamstown, West Virginia, and Private Gabriel C. Fields (right), from Fort Worth, Texas, assigned to Troop C, of the First Squadron, Thirty-Second Cavalry Regiment, in Task Force Bandit, take cover while at Observation Post Mustang in Kunar Province located in the eastern part of Afghanistan on Wednesday 26 January 2011.
"It gets pretty intense sometimes when firing, especially if a firefight is going on," said Specialist Dillon.
That photograph really should get some sort of prize, don't you think?

A QUESTION FOR SONS OF LIBERTY
This SLIDE SHOW was posted at the FEDERALE web site, and watching it made me stop and think.
(You'll have to click on that LINK, because I wasn't able to obtain the embedding code.)
Many of us patriotic rebels who have been preparing for the impending and obviously inevitable armed revolt against our contemporary unconstitutional federal government have openly pledged that "there will not be another Waco or Ruby Ridge", no more compromises, and no more backing down.
From now on, when the forces of the United States government attacks its own citizens, we will use our guns and fight back, rising up nationwide in open armed insurrection to violently restore our lost republic, our divinely inspired Constitution, and our unalienable rights as individual citizens.
However, as you can see from that SLIDE SHOW, a question arises (in my own mind).
Sure, we'll gladly rally to fight if a local patriotic militia espousing traditional Christian family values is attacked.
But, will we also respond if police attack a group we ardently disagree with, such as CODE PINK, or other Marxist organizations?
Should an attack by government forces on one group, however odious or unpopular, be regarded as an attack on all American protest organizations, including the modern day patriotic rebels?
Under what circumstances do we continue to passively acquiesce when government forces kill or imprison fellow American citizens without incurring any consequences?
It was the lack of criminal prosecution of the complicit government agents (including Janet Reno and Elizabeth Dole) following the Waco Massacre that led to the bombing in Oklahoma City, and the wicked administrators of that federal office building STILL haven't been held responsible for the unnecessary deaths of those children in that day care center.

A NEW JOKE I JUST MADE UP!
(Actually, this joke is SO new, I'm still polishing it up and refining it, so please forgive me if it makes you groan or vomit! - - - Also, although I've never heard it, it is possible that somebody else already thought this same joke up a long time ago.)

MOE: Did you hear the latest news about the guys who live in Tull?
JOE: No, where is the town of Tull located?
MOE: You mean you never heard of the community of Tull, in the state of Washington?
JOE: No.
MOE: Well, if you want to know anything about what those guys are doing, then you must go to see at Tull, Washington!
***********************
***********************
I've heard that if'n you wants to jine up with the United States Navy, the recruiters might even arrange it so you can go to sea at Tull, Washington!

And here it is, Folks, the theme song, with lyrics, from the old television series, "HERE COME THE BRIDES", starring David Soul, which was apparently based on the Broadway musical and subsequent Hollywood motion picture production, "SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS".
"SEATTLE"
Composed by:
ERNIE SHELDON and JACK KELLER
CHORUS:
The bluest skies
You've ever seen
Are in Seattle
And the hills
Are the greenest green
In Seattle.
Like a beautiful child,
Growing up, free and wild.
Full of hopes, full of fears,
Full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years
In Seattle, in Seattle!
VERSE # 1:
When it's time
To leave your home
And your kinfolk,
It's the boldest thing
A lad can do.
Your folks pray
That you will find
Someone warm
And sweet and kind.
But you're not sure
What's waiting there for you!
VERSE # 2:
When you find
Your own true love,
You will know it
By her touch,
By the smile in her eye.
Smell of pine trees in the air,
Never knew life
Could be so fair.
It makes a man so proud
That he can try!

Is there anybody in the whole wide world that does NOT love reading this comic strip, "CALVIN AND HOBBES", by Bill Watterson?
Unfortunately, the artist ceased drawing this hilariously lovable daily cartoon on Sunday 31 December 1995, and retired to a reclusive life as a painter at his home in Cleveland, Ohio.

"SILENT RUNNING"
***********************************
***********************************
"SILENT RUNNING"
Composed by:
B.A. ROBERTSON and MICHAEL RUTHERFORD
Recorded by:
MIKE AND THE MECHANICS
VERSE # 01:
Take the children and yourself,
And hide out in the cellar.
By now, the fighting
Will be close at hand.
Don't believe the Church and State
And everything they tell you.
Believe in me.
I'm with the High Command.
CHORUS:
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running?
Can you see me calling you?
VERSE # 02:
There's a gun and ammunition
Just inside the doorway.
Use it only in emergency.
Better you should pray to God,
The Father, Son, and Spirit
To guide you
And protect you all for me.
VERSE # 03:
Swear allegiance to the flag,
Whatever flag they offer,
But conceal
What you really feel.
Teach the children quietly,
For someday, sons and daughters
Will rise up
And fight where we stood still.

MY ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS
Here is an automatic playlist of ALL of my original compositions that have been recorded and are CURRENTLY posted on the YOU TUBE web site.
You can expect more original material to be added later on, as time passes, and/or I just happen to feel so motivated or inspired.
(However, as a totally disabled war veteran, I'm now much older, and frequently in a lot of pain, so I no longer have quite as much energy or motivation as I did in my younger years.)
Most of the videos are songs, in which I composed both lyrics and music.
But, there's also a few poems that I wrote and a couple of jokes I made up.
Copies of the lyrics and/or text can be seen at the YOU TUBE web site for each of these videos.
The videos are not in any particular order, but are all mixed up.
Be sure to watch the videos in "FULL SCREEN" mode.
Folks, I'm merely an unknown amateur, and I don't make any money from any of this.
I reckon if it weren't for the invention of personal computers and the establishment of the Internet (which I personally regard as divine gifts from our Almighty God), no one would ever hear my songs.
Thank you for watching.

MOVIE CRITIQUES
Last night, I watched a couple of REALLY great movies!
First, I watched a 1960 production, "G.I. BLUES", starring Elvis Presley and Juliet Prowse, on a DVD I received via "snail" mail from the NETFLIX web site.
After that, I went to the NETFLIX web site, and watched a 2009 Walt Disney animated movie, "UP", on the Internet.
Ain't computers and the Internet plumb downright wonderful?
NETFLIX is a whole lot better than cable television, AND it's a whole lot CHEAPER, which is why I no longer subscribe to cable television, and only watch programs on the Internet.
Anyway, both of these movies are clean enough for the entire family to enjoy watching together, and they're both great stories.
I like "G.I. BLUES", because I was a soldier in the United States Army, and I was stationed in Germany.
Pretty cool, huh?
Here's a couple of videos of ME singing songs that Elvis Presley sings in the movie, "G.I. BLUES".
So, gather 'round your young'uns, send out for pizza, snuggle up on the big comfy couch, dim the lights, and - - - "ROLL 'EM!"
Pass the popcorn, please.

"TENDER FEELING"
(From the 1964 movie,
"KISSIN' COUSINS",
starring Elvis Presley)
Words and Music By:
GIANT, BAUM, KAYE
VERSE # 01:
I can't conceal
This tender feeling
Now that you
Are close to me.
I look at you
With tender feeling,
And long to
Kiss you tenderly
VERSE # 02:
I offer you
A true devotion
All life through,
My love, I vow.
For this is real,
This sweet emotion,
This tender feeling,
I have now.
BRIDGE:
Somehow I knew,
From the moment
Our lips first met,
You'd be the girl
I could never forget.
VERSE # 03:
No other love
Could be appealing
I loved you
Right from the start.
And with each kiss,
I'll keep revealing
The tender feeling
In my heart.
