OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE: THE "OATH BREAKERS" WEB SITE

Comrades in Arms:

Just as many of us did, on Thursday 07 December 1967, in Portland, Oregon, when I was twenty-one (21) years old, I publicly swore my oath to Almighty God that, as a newly inducted soldier in my beloved United States Army, I would uphold and defend our divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Although my war in Viet Nam is long since over, and I'm no longer a soldier in my beloved United States Army, no one has ever released me from my obligations to that solemn, sacred oath.

Similarly, many of us are already aware of, and fully supportive of, the ideals and goals of the OATH KEEPERS web site, which is devoted to encouraging active duty and reserve military personnel, military veterans, peace officers, public safety personnel, and/or appointed and/or elected public officials to remember their own publicly sworn sacred oath before Almighty God to uphold, defend, enforce, and preserve our divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America.

I've just now learned of the creation of an OATH BREAKERS web site, and so, I've now included it in the list of web sites I follow here on my blog.

That web site publicly identifies individuals who have violated the sacred oath they swore before Almighty God to uphold, defend, enforce, and preserve our divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America.

THE OATH BREAKERS PROJECT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose of the Oath Breakers Project is public information sharing about government officials who violate their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution, as well as those who violate either federal or state law.

The essential concept behind the project is that the person named on Oath Breakers must

A - have violated the Constitution or applicable law, and

B - has not faced appropriate investigation, trial, and punishment for those offenses,

C - or is in a position of authority such as prosecutor, police chief, inspector general, or similar position with the ability to bring charges against governmental law breakers, but who has wrongfully chosen not to do so. In other words, those with such authority who choose to look the other way are as gulity as the original perpetrators.

D - or any member of any governmental agency whose existence is not authorized by the United States Constitution and which routinely uses physical force or the threat of physical force against American citizens to violate the Constitutional rights of those citizens. Agents within the Drug Enforcement Adminstration (DEA) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE) are example of this type of oath breaker.

How this site operates:

1 - Each oath breaker as they are identified will have a post with their name and other identifying information.

2 - Comments are allowed, but are limited exclusively to comments with intelligence value, such as vehicle identifiers, addresses, photographs, et cetera of the oath breaker. No other comments will be allowed - - - this is NOT a discussion forum.

3 - In the event that credible information is received that would exonerate the oath breaker, that post and associated comments will be updated to reflect the supplemental information.

One final note:

The Oath Breakers Project is not intended to be a judge and/or jury over anyone else, and we really would rather not have to do this kind of public accountability initiative. However, when the law is broken by those who are supposed to enforce it, some measure must be taken to deter future wrongdoing.

This site will be updated frequently as information is received. Don't expect daily entries, however.
