Those Scottish soldiers Look so well, But Scottish soldiers Are sent to Hell. Though Scottish soldiers Are stoutly grown, Yet Scotland's soldiers Are not their own, For British union Has its fee, And Scotland's country Is not yet free. Thus, Scottish soldiers Are at England's call To fight wherever They're sent to fall. Scotland's soldiers Are the best Sent by England To face each test. Scottish soldiers Through many years Have shed their blood And hid their fears. So, on they go, Fierce and bold, And by a bard, Their tale is told.
