Regarding the subject of Senate Bill 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012, this was my e-mail to my congressman:

Congressman Palazzo:

What is the current status of Senate Bill 1867, the "National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012"?

Has it already been voted on in the House of Representatives?

If not, then when it does come before the House, I urge you to publicly and vocally oppose it, and vote against it.

Why is there not more publicity in our mass media about this particular bill?

No one I talk to has ever heard about this legislation, and even I don't know whether or not it has already been enacted into law.

I just got off the phone with my congressman (or his aide), who informed me that the NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012, which the United States Senate had already passed, has now been passed by the House of Representatives.

Barry Soetoro (or whoever he is) has already announced he will sign it into law.

I reckon this year, it really will "be a blue, blue Christmas", huh?
