It's daylight outside, and our mess hall here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, is serving PANCAKES for breakfast!
Mmmmm, boy, but that'll be plumb larrupin'!
I reckon I'll get me a load of pancakes and sausage and go outside and "breakfast on the terrace", the way those swanky rich folks do in novels and Hollywood movies.
I enjoy sitting on the terrace and looking out to sea, watching for passing ships.
