In so far as I can determine, everything in the life of John and Abigail Adams fully indicates that the guiding hand of our Heavenly Father was upon them.
How else do we explain their moral courage to risk everything, including their lives and the lives of their children, and over MANY years, coupled with their loyal, steadfast, virtuous, true romantic love for each other, valiantly staying the course, to advocate, support, aid, and abet the violent crimes of treason, secession, and armed revolt, at a time when it was not popular to do so, and was a capital offense punishable by death?
Oh, just LOOK at their personal lives and their accomplishments, under the circumstances which they lived and operated!
When compared to them, our own pitifully corrupt and benighted generation are obviously become a fallen people, without hope of redemption, for though specifically warned by Jesus, the Christ, in sacred, holy scriptures contained within the pages of the Book of Mormon, as we have deserted the God of our own beloved United States of America, a nation blessed above all other nations on this Earth, abandoning our own divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America, thus, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, the Christ, who is the God of this land, has turned his face away from us, and has become deaf to our hypocritical pleading.
(Ah, yes, Folks, I realize that there are many people who don't believe the Book of Mormon is sacred, holy scripture given to us by God.
But - - - ,
Just because somebody might not believe something, doesn't make a fact any less true - - - ,
Especially when it comes from Jesus, the Christ.)
Alas, our republic is no more.
Oh, how we have fallen!
