Why was 11 September designated "PATRIOT DAY"?

Is it part of a sinister plot to suppress and destroy our American heritage, by confusing the public, deliberately causing everyone to ignore and forget the far more significant "PATRIOT'S DAY", which commemorates the morning of 19 April 1775?

When our beloved native United States of America was attacked on the morning of Tuesday 11 September 2001, I was serving my full time mission for The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints, guarding the Rocking G Ranch in Jensen, Utah.

I had just woke up, and turning on my computer, I saw a couple of strange e-mails urging everyone to donate blood, and referring to a car bomb at the State Department.

Curious, I checked my favorite news source, the DRUDGE REPORT web site.

What I saw there made me think the DRUDGE REPORT, normally a very reliable source of breaking news, had been maliciously hacked, and that somebody was perpetrating a really sick joke.

There was just no way that what I was seeing on my computer screen could possibly be true.

So, I turned on my television set, and - - - ?

Every channel was broadcasting the same report, live, as it was happening, minute by minute.

I vividly remember seeing the man and woman holding hands as they leapt from the unbearable raging inferno of the burning skyscrapers to their deaths far below, on the roof of the building's entrance.

Also, I vividly recall, and can NEVER forget, the video of Moslems rejoicing in the streets of Arab communities on the West Bank of the River Jordan in Israel, dancing and distributing candy.

I'll not forget the deafening, tell-tale tacit approval indicated by the SILENCE evinced by Moslems throughout the World, who did not utter a word of protest against the enemy attacks of Tuesday 11 September 2001, nor the later television interview with teenaged Moslem students residing in New York City, in which the youths openly approved of Jihad against the people of our United States of America.

Ah, but worse was yet to come!

Our own government then used the attacks of Tuesday 11 September 2001 as justification for blatantly ignoring our divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America, flagrantly infringing on the unalienable rights of the people of the United States of America.

With the illegal creation of the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act, the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration, and the more recent imposition of the National Defense Authorization Act, innumerable and sundry inherent liberties were lost and/or forfeited by the citizenry of our United States of America.

Rather than attacking and destroying Islam, our self declared enemy, the government chose instead to penalize, oppress, and persecute its own native citizens of our United States of America.

To further add insult to injury, the duly elected President of the United States of America deliberately lied to the World and the American people, calling Islam a "religion of peace", and stating that our Country was attacked because the Moslems "hate our freedom".

No, the Moslems hate the United States of America because of our alliance with Israel.

I wonder - - - ,

Since the attacks of Tuesday 11 September 2001 were financed from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and all of the men in the attacking force were Saudis, why did the United States of America choose to invade Iraq and Afghanistan?

Why weren't Mecca and Medina immediately obliterated by nuclear strikes, and/or the Dome of the Rock Mosque and Al Aqsa Mosque seized and destroyed by the Israel Defense Force?

We could, and should, still do it.
