Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

Boy, oh boy, oh boy, it's time to watch a movie!

For the best effect, please be sure to watch, in "FULL SCREEN" mode, this video recording of the 1980 movie, "MR. KRUEGER'S CHRISTMAS", an official production of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints (i.e., the "Mormon" church), which was posted at the YOU TUBE web site on Friday 27 December 2013 through the benevolent generosity of Bardonious.

This is my favorite Christmas movie!

I personally know the little girl's family, for her uncle and I were both soldiers in the United States Army serving together during the war in the old Republic of Viet Nam.

The scene where Mr. Krueger visits the manger always evokes tearful memories of my long lost darling, Bonnie.

Bonnie and I, in 1973
In August of 1971, during a thirty day special leave from the 101st Airborne Division in the old Republic of Viet Nam to visit Israel, I went on a three day guided tour of Jerusalem, via Egged Tours, which included visiting the manger in Bethlehem.

Oh, what a treasured memory THAT is!

Obviously, because of this movie's name, I (and probably many others) wickedly enjoy referring to it as, "FREDDIE KRUEGER'S CHRISTMAS"!

Sooooooo - - - ,

Plug in the lights on your Christmas tree, gather 'round your young'uns, pop some corn, pass around the candy canes, slice some fruitcake, pour some mugs of good ol' fashioned eggnog, snuggle up on the big comfy couch (right up underneath that there mistletoe!), dim the lights, and - - - ,

"ROLL 'EM ! ! !"

Pass the popcorn, please.

Thank you.
