Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:
For a few of you, this message is merely "preaching to the choir".
But, for others, this message might have a positive impact.
On
Saturday 01 October 2016, a date which will live in infamy, we
Americans were betrayed by our President and members of the Congress, as
they formally surrendered our uniquely American computer Internet to
the international control and regulation of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, i.e., "ICANN".
What effect will this have on individual computer users?
Is our inalienable right to freedom of expression being threatened?
What does our future portend?
Actually,
for many of us who habitually express personal opinions generally
deemed to be unpopular and/or controversial, our individual freedom of
expression has already been placed in jeopardy, as YAHOO!, GOOGLE,
FACEBOOK, and YOU TUBE, among others, have practiced self-censorship for
years, and also freely admit to sharing their subscriber's personal
information with the National Security Agency, the Federal Bureau of
Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the People's
Republic of China.
We
already know that everything we do on our computer, plus every
telephone call, is intercepted and monitored by the National Security
Agency.
But, regardless, I intend to continue using my computer to express my personal opinions.
In
my view, the inventions of the personal computer and the Internet are
divine gifts from our Almighty God, useful tools to be wisely employed
by us in the eternal struggles between good and evil, truth and
falsehood, knowledge and ignorance, liberty and bondage, war and peace,
darkness and light.
And
thus, if you search, nearly every day, you'll see my name at web sites
all over the Internet, as I constantly strive to educate others by
sharing my religious faith, boldly arguing in behalf of that which is
right, and/or denouncing the encroachments of government tyranny.
I would add that I have little or no respect for anyone who ANONYMOUSLY posts their opinions on the Internet!
That's
why I always use my actual identity and location whenever I post any of
my comments, and I would encourage others to do the same.
If
a man really believes what he is saying, especially if it's
controversial, then that man should act like a man, and have the
integrity to sign his real name, and thus, in a sense of justice and
fair play, giving others an opportunity to respond.
To
emphatically repeat, our personal computers and the Internet are divine
gifts inspired from the loving Father of us all, and are tools that are
meant to be used in furthering the causes of Heaven and of Liberty.
So, please, use your computers.
Please join with me in responding to the numerous news reports, essays, and opinion pieces posted throughout the Internet, for YOUR voice does indeed count when needed in the eternal struggle for Liberty and Truth.
Indeed, your VOICE is even more important than your VOTE!
Voting
can be done silently and secretly, but your voice can influence others
around you and, through the computer Internet, folks all over the World.
History
teaches us that it was the acknowledged custom of the ancient tribes in
the House of Israel, the Vikings, and the Anglo-Saxons, who, while
wearing their swords to indicate their status as free men with a right
to be heard, would gather and decide issues of the day with a "VOICE VOTE" (i.e., they actually expressed their opinion when voting).
In
addition to using your computers to post your comments at the various
web sites of news and opinions, you can also use your personal computers
to create and maintain your own personal web site(s), similar to (or
far better than) my own personal web site, "OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE".
Creating a personal web site is FREE!
It didn't cost me one red cent to create my own personal web site!
YOU can do the same thing!
And, the really FUN part is seeing total strangers in all those different countries from all around the World visiting MY web site!
Also,
if you have a special talent you can share, then consider creating
homemade amateur video recordings, and creating your own personal video
channel.
Again, it is FREE, and it didn't cost me one red cent to create mine!
Just THINK about how much GOOD you can do, using these divinely inspired gifts of the personal computer and the World Wide Web!
When using your personal computer, YOU
might even save a human life, or influence an election and/or an armed
revolt bringing previously undreamed freedom to some unknown people in a
far distant land.
Also,
don't forget that your personal computer(s) can be used in scientific
research programs, where there are so many discoveries being made so
rapidly, that in order to even begin to analyze all of the raw data, the
work must be farmed out to volunteers all over the World.
That's
one of the ways in which my own computer is constantly being used,
seeking cures for disease, and simultaneously searching for answers to
questions about our Universe.
Again, doing this costs nothing, and just imagine the GOOD you will be doing.
What if it's YOUR computer that accidentally discovers a cure for cancer?
