This dangerously illegal and highly immoral subversive underground resistance message is being surreptitiously monitored by the Beaming Internet Government Broadband Radio Oscillation Telecommunications Hearing Electronics Reconnaissance (i.e., "B.I.G. Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

I've just now been notified by my computer's Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (i.e., "B.O.I.N.C.") program, at the University of California, Berkeley, that the World Community Grid has awarded me a BRONZE BADGE for my computer's volunteer participation in the Open Zika research project, which seeks a cure for the Zika virus.

To learn more details about this particular scientific research project, and how YOU can also participate by volunteering your own computer to assist in analyzing raw data, please click on the Internet hyperlinks I've provided in the opening paragraph of this e-mail message.

Of course, the BRONZE BADGE awarded to me is merely a virtual award, meaning there is no actual badge, but just a sort of personal recognition for me being only one of MANY (Thousands? Millions?) private individuals in countries around the globe who volunteer their computers for this work.

The Open Zika research project is only one of numerous humanitarian scientific research projects that I have running on my computer.

In this amazing age that we currently live in, there are so many scientific discoveries being made, and made so quickly, that there aren't enough researchers to follow up on every new discovery, forcing universities, laboratories, and/or research centers all around the globe to farm out the research to millions of volunteers, such as myself (and YOU?), to analyze raw data on their computers.

Personally, I am a firm believer that the personal computer and the Internet are divinely inspired gifts, and it is up to each of us to choose whether to use these gifts to do good, or to do evil.

Thus, I choose to take advantage of the opportunity to be a part of history, by volunteering to use my computer in humanitarian scientific research.

How will you choose to use YOUR computer?

Should you choose to share this e-mail message with multiple recipients, then please protect everyone's privacy by using the "BCC" (i.e., "Blind Carbon Copy") option when addressing the e-mail.

Thank you.
