2011 ARMED FORCES DAY

Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

In the news media, some folks are saying that Saturday 21 May 2011 will be the end of the
World as we know it.

I don't know anything about that.

What I do know is that here in the United States of America, Saturday 21 May 2011 is ARMED FORCES DAY.

Every year, Armed Forces Day is on the third Saturday in the month of May.

Normally, on this occasion, your local military installation will hold an open house, proudly welcoming visitors from the general public.

So, please consider taking your family and your camera to visit the nearest post of your United States Army, or the nearest base of your United States Navy, your United States Marine Corps, or your United States Air Force.

You'll probably notice that in that list of military organizations, the United States Coast Guard was NOT included by me, my reason being they are no longer legitimately part of the Department of Defense, but are now part of the Department of Homeland Security, whose very existence is in violation of the Constitution of the United States of America, and who exercise tyranny by habitually oppressing citizens of the United States of America.

Unfortunately, the emasculating feminist career bureaucrats who comprise the executive administration here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi are completely oblivious to the existence and purpose of Armed Forces Day, and so, this year, just as in previous years when I resided at the Ol' Soldiers' Home in Washington, D.C., there will be no activities, observance, or celebration for my distinguished comrades in arms.

Rather sad, isn't it?

I wonder if any of the local school kids are ever taught about this day?

Thank you.
