HOW TO SIT WHEN WEARING A KILT

*************************************************************
*************************************************************
Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:
Clan Henderson
This is an exceptionally invaluable instruction video, provided through the generous courtesy of KILT RENTAL USA in Scottsdale, Arizona.

For the best effect, please be sure to watch this video in "FULL SCREEN" mode.

I really appreciate this resource, as I wear my kilt regimental style, and at times, not knowing how to sit down properly has proven to be publicly embarrassing.

One other thing I've learned (the hard way!) is not to ever sit in any of those really low cloth portable folding chairs.

Do you remember this famous photograph?

Remember that Scottish clans, although families, are also traditionally organized military units, and the kilt is a male military uniform designed for close quarters combat and surviving in a harsh outdoor environment.

The only time females wear a kilt is when costumed for Highland dancing events, and even then, it is worn without the strictly male accoutrements such as the sporran.

While the tartan design is a uniquely Highland invention, the kilt actually was introduced into Scotland by Norwegian settlers.

Thank you.
