Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:
Faith and begorra, and a grrrr-REAT day for the Irish, it is!
We were not a Roman Catholic family, but when I was a wee lad growing up in Spring Lake, North Carolina, out of respect for our Irish ancestors, and to keep alive that special heritage, Mama taught us young'uns to always observe Saint Patrick's Day.
For the best effect, please be sure and enjoy watching, in "FULL SCREEN" mode, this automated video series of ME (!) strumming simple chords on my Yamaha G-130A guitar and singing those good ol' Irish songs of my boyhood.
Ah, - - - , and sing along WITH me, why don't cha?
Here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, according to the official MENU that's posted on the Internet, our mess hall is serving a special DINNER for Saint Patrick's Day, followed by a Saint Patrick's Day Ice Cream Meet and Greet at 1400 Hours.
AND - - - ,
'tis a nice bottle of O'DOUL'S alcohol free beer that I'll be relaxing with on this fine day, as I listen to my "IRISH AND CELTIC FAVORITES" compact discs,
AND - - - ,
I'll be watching my DVDs of:
"CELTIC VOYAGE - A FASCINATING JOURNEY THROUGH IRELAND",
"DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE",
and also, "FAR AND AWAY".
HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY ! ! !
Thank you.
