Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

Boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

Friday 04 July 2014, was our own beloved United States of America's annual Independence Day celebration, marking the Two Hundred and Thirty-Eighth (238) anniversary of the official publishing of the "DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE" ! ! !

Aye, but therein lies the rub.

WHICH day IS the real Independence Day?

According to a letter that John Adams wrote to his wife, Abigail Adams,

"The Second Day of July 1776 will be the most memorable Epocha in the History of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding Generations as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade with Shews Games Sports Guns Bells Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more. You will think me transported with Enthusiasm but I am not. I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration and support and defend these States. Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. And that Posterity will tryumph in that Days Transaction even altho We should rue it which I trust in God We shall not."

By the way, those are not misspellings or grammatical errors in that quote.

Way back in those days, when people were more literate, pedantic, erudite, educated, intelligent, cultured, courteous, chivalrous, moral, pious, religious, and yes, even downright smarter than we are today, folks really did write that way, as our native English language was still evolving.

No, it is NOT the "Fourth of July".

Our calling it the fourth day in the month of July sounds like just another day on the calendar, and therefore, nothing special.

The proper name for our national holiday is "INDEPENDENCE DAY", so let's ALWAYS remember to call it ONLY by that name.

"DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE"
As officially authorized by Army Regulation 670-1: 30-6, our Nation's INDEPENDENCE DAY is an appropriate occasion for military veterans to wear their medals on their civilian clothing.

In celebration of Independence Day, Friday 04 July 2014, our mess hall here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi served up a special picnic/barbecue style meal of:

In the evening, as you might well expect, there were spectacular fireworks displays all along the beach, the wharves, casinos, and hotels.

Gosh, gee whillikers, I sure wish I could of had some dynamite or homemade black powder pipe bombs to celebrate with!

I love fireworks, especially if I'm the one setting them off!

I think it's kind of a "guy" thing, similar to baying at a full moon.

For the best effect, please be sure to enjoy watching, in "FULL SCREEN" mode, my homemade amateur video recording of ME (!), performing my original composition, "PARCHMENT, QUILL, AND THE PEOPLE'S WILL", as I accompany myself by strumming simple chords on my Yamaha G-130A classical guitar.

VERSE # 1:
Parchment, quill,
And the people's will
In a sacred land;
With sword and pen,
The rebel men
Made a noble stand.

CHORUS:
The light goes forth
Throughout the World
To shine for all to see.
"We, the People" forevermore
Born of God to stay free!
"We, the People" forevermore
Born of God to stay free!

VERSE # 2:
Freedom's light
Was born of fight
Against a tyrant king.
Nothing's free
Or comes easily.
You work for everything.

VERSE # 3:
Federal power
Can grow by hour,
The Founders warned us all.
Search and fight
For what is right,
Or you'll see Liberty fall!

For the best effect, please be sure and enjoy watching, in "FULL SCREEN" mode, this inspiring video recording of,

"THE AMERICAN FOUNDING FATHERS: GREATEST SOCIAL EXPERIMENT IN HISTORY",

which was created and posted at the YOU TUBE web site by the RENALDUS MAXIMUS 1 video channel, on Wednesday 03 February 2010.

Here in the comfortable privacy of my assigned quarters at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, I merely relaxed, watching my DVDs of the Home Box Office series, "JOHN ADAMS".

INDEPENDENCE DAY would be a good day for citizens to physically attack agents and/or employees of the Department of Homeland Security and/or the Transportation Security Administration, or any number of other similar federal agencies whose very existence is a blatant violation of our divinely inspired Constitution of The United States of America.

They are naught but traitors and tyrants, but as individual human beings, they are just as vulnerable as the rest of us are, so let's go after them - - - in their homes, on the street, in parking lots, at the market, et cetera.

Make those traitors afraid to go to work, and make the consequences so utterly horrific that no one else dares take that job.

Remember, the one tactic the federal government (and the collaborators in your local government) fear the most, because they have NO defense against it, are unpredictable, random, "lone wolf", hit and run guerilla attacks.

Even if you don't actually strike right now, at least, you can be making your own plans and practical survival preparations for our imminent and inevitable civil war.

It happened in 1775.

It happened again in 1861.

Now, it's our turn.

It's all about - - - "FREEDOM!"

Thank you.
