AMERICAN LOVE STORY

Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

Earlier this evening, Friday 11 January 2013, I saw ONE (01) photograph posted at the FREE NORTH CAROLINA web site which piqued my curiosity, because that one particular photograph by itself, with no accompanying explanation, didn't make any sense.

So, I researched it, and this is what I found.

The hero is Explosive Ordance Disposal Technician Second Class (Diver) TAYLOR J. MORRIS, United States Navy, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who was decorated with the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart Medal.

The heroine is his childhood sweetheart, Danielle Kelly.

Most, if not all, of these photographs are believed to have been taken by TIM DODD.

For the best effect, please enjoy watching this SLIDE SHOW and the VIDEO in "FULL SCREEN" mode.

The video recording was posted at the YOU TUBE web site on Monday 22 October 2012 by the TAYLOR MORRIS RECOVERY channel.

As one person commented, "While he may be a hero, she is certainly an ANGEL!"

Also, please be sure and visit the official TAYLOR J. MORRIS web site and/or the TIM DODD PHOTOGRAPHY web site.

By the way, whenever you hear someone in the military service and/or the medical profession mention the phrase, "Basket Case", an epithet which originated with the British Army during the First World War, they may be referring to - - -

a QUADRUPLE TRAUMATIC AMPUTEE

Thank you.
