In response to warnings issued by the National Hurricane Center, the entire Gulf Coast of Mississippi, including Gulfport, Biloxi, and Keesler Air Force Base, is currently under a Hurricane Watch and a Coastal Flood Watch, as Tropical Storm Karen gathers strength in the Gulf of Mexico, heading due NORTH (!), on a course that will carry it directly towards our own United States of America.

Our neighboring states of Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida are included in the Hurricane Watch.

Residents at the Armed Forces Retirement Home have been cautioned to bring all balcony furniture indoors, to lock their balcony doors, and to waterproof personal belongings by wrapping them in plastic sheets or bags.

This was a presentation on "HURRICANE HUNTERS" given by Lieutenant Colonel Roy Deatherage, United States Air Force, from Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in the Community Center room at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi at 1000 Hours on Tuesday 20 November 2012.

This video was recorded with my Kodak "Easy Share" Z710 zoom lens digital camera, in video mode, having a resolution of 7.1 megapixels, mounted on my MX2000 tripod.
